They provide a standard PPP connection, so any operating system is supported in theory. They include setup instructions for DOS, Macintosh, Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows 98,
Windows Millenium, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. |

Bloomfield Township Public Library (BTPL) offers a free Internet access service called Metro Net to residents of Bloomfield Township and Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
There are two access numbers available, (248) 203-2840 provides up to 56k connections and (248) 433-0750 provides up to 28.8k connections.
They do not provide email service, but you can sign up with and use a separate free email provider.
There are time limits on BTPL accounts. After 2 hours of use you will be disconnected. Between 3pm and 11pm, you can only connect for a single 2 hour session. At other times of the day, you can
re-connect as many times as you need.
